Los Angeles-based artist is looking for an independent experienced retoucher or retouching company for the post production of complicated, large-scale fine art photographs.

Ideal candidates have 5-10 years of proven experience working closely with fine artists. Candidates must have expertise in Photoshop, can handle intricate retouching and heavy compositing, and need to be excellent with color.

Experience in fine art printing and film scanning are a plus as well as a studio set-up with a printer where the artist can work side-by-side with the retoucher in a distraction-free environment.

The person in this role will work with both the artist and the artist’s studio team. Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines are essential. Tasks can be complex and unconventional.

The work will be on a project / need-basis often with little advance notice. Pay is hourly - to be discussed.
