Knowledge and ability in measuring, cutting, and assembling custom wood crates, travel frames, and museum-quality cases using table saws, chop saws, and pneumatic nail guns.

Cutting and shaping interior cushioning such as archival foams, thermal insulation, and custom supports to secure delicate objects.

Design & Math: Reading and interpreting blueprints or crate designs to exact specifications, often requiring shop math for precise measurements.

Safely moving and packing paintings, sculptures, and furniture into finished crates.

Maintaining woodworking tools, managing lumber inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.

Must have knowledge of typical wood shop tools and basic shop math.

Art knowledge a plus but not required.
