Join our dedicated team as a Building Services Technician, where you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for Heritage Auctions employees and clients. SUMMARY: The associate will primarily be responsible for general building repair, maintenance, and preparation of in-transit valuable items. They will also assist the Building Operations team as needed.

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience

$500 Sign On Bonus - $250 after your first paycheck & $250 after 90 days

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Moves necessary materials around job sites as assigned.
Cleans up worksite debris
Provide general maintenance and building repairs
Provide general support for Building Operations
This position reports to the Building Operations/Maintenance Supervisor
Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Must be able to perform basic maintenance tasks required
Work quickly and without direct supervision.
Must have problem–solving abilities
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
High ability to follow written and oral instruction
Great attention to detail
Fork-lift experience a plus
Box truck or step-van experience is a plus
Floor-cleaning knowledge is a plus

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver’s license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds repeatedly daily.
Must be able to travel up to 20%.
Available to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
