ThePackengers New York is looking for an experienced art handler who is skilled in installation, de-installation, packing, and safe transportation of 2D and 3D artworks.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Job duties required but not limited to:
Installation and de-installation of 2D & 3D artworks.
Driving up to 26’ box truck transporting artworks, ensuring loads are properly secured to company standards.
Maintaining standards in packing, installation and transport.
Taking detailed written and photographic condition reports of artworks.
Professional interactions and communication with clients.
Requirements
3-5 years experience as an art handler.
Experience driving a 26’ box truck and familiarity with the New York metro area.
Punctuality, effective communication and clear/legible handwriting.
Knowledge of handling, packing, installation, de-installation of 2D and 3D artworks of various media.
Clean driving record and background check.
